Description
Much like the ever-popular Cherokee Princess Dogwood, Super Princess has an extra heavy set of large flowers with bracts 4 to 5 inches across that cover the tree like snow in early to mid spring. The medium to dark green glossy leaves turn to outstanding shades of red to reddish purple with the arrival of cooler temperatures in fall. As with other flowering dogwoods, abundant clusters of deep red berries are displayed in fall persisting well into winter providing cool season interest and a delectable delight for the birds. At 15 to 20 feet tall and wide, Super Princess Dogwood is a majestic small tree with horizontally spreading lines and a layered effect perfect for use around partially shaded patios and other outdoors living spaces or in landscape or woodland borders.
Landscape & Garden Uses
Growing 15 to 20 feet tall and wide at maturity, the Super Princess White Dogwood is ideal for use as a specimen, in groupings or in a staggered rows in sunny or shady landscape or woodland borders. Also nice to frame the corners of homes and to provide beauty and some shade around patios, porches and other outdoor living spaces. A fine addition to woodland gardens, white theme gardens, and cottage gardens.
Suggested Spacing:Â 25 feet or more apart for space between trees; 10′ or more from the home
Growing Preferences
Dogwood trees are adaptable to many soil types, preferring a moist but well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Constantly soggy or wet soils are problematic. Though Dogwood trees will tolerate full sun, we think they look and perform best with some shade or filtered sun during the hottest part of summer afternoons. Maintenance is minimal to none. Except to remove a stray or broken branch, no pruning is necessary.

First of all, both plants arrived perfectly packed, with all their limbs and leaves intact and looking very healthy. I call that effort, a GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. If the seller begins right, with the packaging, no matter how rough the trip is, the product will arrive safely. Second, I planted them three days after arrival and right now both are doing great. We’ve have rain for almost a week and that helps my babies to look so beautiful. I have a small yard and I am trying to decide whether I purchase another large bush or tree for privacy, which is my major problem. Overall, completely satisfied with my purchase at Wilson Bros Garden and I’ll pass the word around to promote the business. Highly recommended this seller!————————————————————We are so glad you are pleased and we hope you enjoy them for years to come! Thanks for the kind words and great review! 🙂 Beth Steele | WBG
